Shenzhen-Hong Kong Cooperation Roundtable held its third meeting on the Greater Guangdong Hong Kong Macau Bay Area
The third meeting of the Shenzhen-Hong Kong Cooperation Roundtable co-initiated by SZIDI and the One Country Two System Institute was held in Shenzhen on May 12th, 2017.
The government work report this year promotes the deepening cooperation between mainland and the two SARs, Hong Kong and Macau, and fully utilizes the advantages of Hong Kong and Macau to designate the development plan of the greater Guangdong Hong Kong Macau bay area. The third meeting of the SZ-HK Cooperation Roundtable was thus held in such context, seeking new opportunities in the development of the greater bay area. Mr. Zhenhua Mao, president of the SZIDI, and Mr. Zhou Fang moderated the meeting. Mr. Siping Zhang, former member of the Standing Committee of CPC Shenzhen Municipal Committee, and Nicolas W. Yang, secretary for Innovation and Technology of Hong Kong made the welcome address.
Invited experts from Shenzhen and Hong Kong made speeches pertaining the new opportunities, new ideas, as well as the interconnectivity, shared development, industrial innovation and coordinated development in terms of infrastructure building in the greater bay area.
